Forum's at LSHTM

On the LSHTM VLE

At the School we use discussion forums as the primary way for students to contact tutors and to ask academic questions.  They also provide a way that we can all get involved in a discussion together, sharing knowledge and experience, and learning from each other.

Discussions forums are used in many places on the VLE each will have this icon  You will find:

    • Each Module has a forum where you are encouraged to introduce yourself, and start to build a personal network with your fellow students and the tutors for that module.
    • Modules have academic forums. These can be really useful for developing the deeper learning necessary for Masters level study.
    • Each Programme has Forums in Student zones where you can introduce yourself to fellow students.
    • Forums in the Student and General Zones where you can ask specific technical or academic support questions.
